Northrim Bank Promotes New Chief Financial Officer

Northrim BanCorp, Inc. announced that its Board of Directors promoted Latosha Frye to Chief Financial Officer. The promotion was effective May 16, 2014. "The CFO must be a character and credentials beyond reproach- we are fortunate to find those qualifications with an experienced and energetic person such as Latosha Frye," note Joe Beedle, Northrim Bank CEO. Frye takes over from Joe Schierhorn, who has served as CFO since 2001. He will devote his time to being the Chief Operating Officer for Northrim Bank.

"Latosha has been an integral member of our financial reporting team for more than eight years and has a deep understanding of our bank, markets and our industry," said Marc Langland, Northrim BanCorp Chairman. "As our Vice President and Controller of Financial Reporting, she has demonstrated her dedication to our company, and her strong experience in finance and accounting make her promotion a natural decision for us."

Frye has been with Northrim Bank since 2006 when she was hired as Assistant Vice President, Lead Accountant for Financial Reporting. She was promoted to Assistant Controller in 2008 and in 2009 was promoted to Vice President, Controller of Financial Reporting. Before joining Northrim Bank, Frye was with KPMG, LLP where she was a Senior Audit Associate. Frye holds a Masters of Accountancy and Bachelor of Science from the University of Montana. She is a graduate of the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking and has earned the Wharton Leadership Certificate from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Frye is a Certified Public Accountant with the State of Alaska.
