Northrim Bank Announces Eleven Recent Promotions
Northrim President and CEO Mike Huston is pleased to announce the promotion of 11 officers, recognizing their leadership, strong performance and ongoing contributions to the Bank’s success.
- Bill Bailey, SVP— Business Development Manager
Bailey joined Northrim in 2023, bringing an extensive background in education and the oil and gas industries. In a newly created role, he now serves as Senior VP Business Development Manager. He focuses on building long-term relationships statewide and guiding customers through opportunities and challenges as their businesses grow. Bailey is an active community member and serves on several advisory and nonprofit boards across Alaska.
- Astrid Erdman, VP— Treasury Management Relationship Manager
Erdman began her banking career in Germany before joining Northrim Bank in 2017. She oversees treasury relationships, implements cash management solutions and advises clients on improving efficiency. Erdman is a graduate of the Northrim Bank Management Academy, an Accredited Payables Specialist through the Institute of Finance and Management (IOFM) and a recipient of the Northrim Customer First Service Award.
- Erik Hamilton, VP— Commercial Real Estate Lender
Hamilton joined the Bank in 2022 with 12 years in the financial services industry. As a Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer, he primarily works with non-owner occupied commercial real estate investors. Hamilton coaches youth basketball, soccer and flag football for the YMCA, Boys & Girls Club of Alaska and Club Sports Alaska. He is an active volunteer with Changepoint Church.
- Sarah Maycock, VP— Electronic Banking Manager
Maycock joined the Bank in 2018 with 10 years of banking experience. She oversees the Commercial Electronic Banking Support and Call Center teams, providing implementation, onboarding and ongoing support for customers of all sizes. Maycock holds a Bachelor of Arts in communications from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Masters of Business Administration from University of Alaska Fairbanks, earned in May 2026.
- Jennifer Shaughnessy, VP— Lending Compliance Manager
Shaughnessy joined Northrim in 2024 and has 22 years of experience in banking, with 14 years in compliance. She oversees lending and deposit compliance for the Bank. Shaughnessy is a Certified Community Bank Compliance Officer and holds a Fair Lending Expert certification from Tuscan Club University.
- Janey May, AVP— Treasury Management Consultant
May joined Northrim in 2024 with 13 years of banking experience. In her role, she partners with businesses to identify challenges, develop collaborative financial solutions and implement treasury strategies that improve cash flow, efficiency and long-term growth. She is a former board member of United Way of Southeast Alaska and is an active volunteer with Junior Achievement.
- Leigh Boado, AVP — Branch Manager, Southside Financial Center
Boado joined Northrim in 2024 with 16 years of banking experience and 10 years in management. As branch manager, she oversees branch operations, employee development and customer service while driving business growth and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Boado volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and the Food Bank of Alaska and supports local financial literacy classes.
- Donna Fountain, Product Operations Coordinator
Fountain will celebrate her 20th anniversary with Northrim in August and was recently promoted to her new position. In her role, she reviews, tests and implements new products and services for Northrim. Fountain is a recipient of the Northrim Customer First Service Award and volunteers through Northrim’s School Partnership programs.
- Salvador Garcia Cervantes, Project Manager
Cervantes has been with Northrim since 2019 and works in the DevOps department, where he oversees enterprise and non-enterprise projects. He earned his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2022.
- Kerin Roberts, AVP — Retail Service Manager
Roberts joined Northrim in 2006, working in the Call Center. As the Retail Service Manager, she oversees the Retail Sales and Service department. Roberts volunteers at Fairview Elementary School and with the Greater Friendship Baptist Church.
- Nitzia Loaiza-Angulo, Assistant Branch Manager, Midtown Financial Center
Loaiza-Angulo joined Northrim in 2022 with 10 years of prior banking experience. She volunteers through Northrim’s School Partnership programs.
