We are making exciting changes!

At Northrim Bank, we strive to provide Superior Customer First Service. With that in mind, we have exciting news to share with you. We are performing a major upgrade to our core banking system that will go live for customers on May 8. This upgrade will provide many enhancements to our current products and services as well as allow us to offer additional services in the future.

This is a significant system upgrade and the entire Northrim team has been carefully planning for many months with a goal to minimize the impact to you, our customer. However, there will be service disruption the weekend of May 5 – 7 as the transition from one system to another is completed. There are also some changes after the upgrade that you should be aware of.

Following are some of the important items you need to know about the transition to the new system:

  • Northrim Bank will close early on Friday, May 5 at 4:00 p.m.* All branches will be closed on Saturday, May 6. We will reopen at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, May 8.
  • Online Banking, Text Banking, Mobile Banking and Telebanking will not be available starting on May 5 until 9:00 a.m. on Monday, May 8.
  • Northrim Bank Debit Cards/ATM Cards will remain active, with limited access during the upgrade. You can continue to use your current checks and preprinted deposit slips.
  • Your deposit account number(s) will not be changing. Some loan account numbers will change.
  • All safe deposit box account numbers will change. Your box number, location of your box and your key will not change.
  • Paper statements will be generated for all customer deposit accounts as of May 5. We anticipate these statements will be mailed beginning on May 8.

We encourage you to use the personal checklist and business checklist to ensure you are prepared for a smooth transition to our new banking system. We also want to assure you that your information is secure throughout the system upgrade. Your security and privacy is of the utmost importance to us.
