WHAT DOES NORTHRIM BANK DO WITH YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

If you are a new customer, we can begin sharing your information 30 days from the date we sent this notice. When you are no longer our customer, we continue to share your information as described in this notice.

However, you can contact us at any time to limit our sharing.

What we do
How does Northrim Bank protect my personal information? To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings.
How does Northrim Bank collect my personal information? We collect your personal information, for example, when you
• open an account or apply for a loan
• use your credit or debit card or show your
   government-issued ID
• make deposits or withdrawals from your
   account

We also collect your personal information from others, such as credit bureaus, affiliates, or other companies.
Why can’t I limit all sharing? Federal law gives you the right to limit only
• sharing for affiliates' everyday business 
   purposes - information about your credit 
   worthiness
• affiliates from using information to market 
   to you
• sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you

State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing.
What happens when I limit sharing for an account I hold jointly with someone else? Your choies will apply to everyone on your account.

Definitions
Affiliates Companies related by common ownership or control.They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.

Our affiliates include others, such as companies with a Northrim name; and financial companies such as Elliott Cove Capital Management.
Nonaffiliates Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.

Northrim Bank does not share with nonaffiliates so they can market to you.
Joint marketing A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.

Our joint marketing partners include insurance companies and credit card companies.

 

Notice and opt-out apply to personal information about individuals who obtain products or services primarily for personal, family, or household purposes.
